Andrew Cuomo camp blasts report that he laid off on Joe Bruno ...

"Gov.-elect Andrew Cuomo denied a report Sunday that he rebuffed federal prosecutors' requests to go after former Senate GOP kingpin Joe Bruno on state corruption charges.
Cuomo spokesman John Milgrim said there were no discussions between the attorney general's office - which Cuomo currently heads - and the U.S. attorney's office for the Northern District concerning Bruno."

Silver skips first transition session

 

"Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver skipped the first meeting Tuesday of the transition committee to which Gov.-Elect Andrew Cuomo has named him, sending his chief of staff Judy Rapfogel instead. No word on why he could not attend"       geeeeeeez  andrew is not even sworn in yet...........
